Gizye is built so buyers can trust who they are dealing with. Trust signals come from verification and registry evidence, never from self-reported ratings.

Business verification

Company profiles originate from Ethiopia's official trade registry. To manage a listing, a person must prove they control it, so the exporter you contact is a real, identifiable business.

Representative verification

When a person acts on behalf of a company, we verify that representative separately. Verified-representative status is shown as a distinct badge so buyers know the individual is authorized.

License validation

Export activity in Ethiopia depends on a valid trade license. Gizye tracks license validity against the registry and reflects it on profiles, and license renewals are reviewed before a seller's compliance status is updated.

Human review

Claims, seller applications, and license renewals that cannot be auto-verified are sent to a single reviewer queue where our team approves, rejects, or requests changes. A reviewer never reviews their own submission, and every decision is recorded.

Fraud prevention and reporting

• Public forms are protected against automated abuse and spam.
• Sensitive documents are stored privately and are never publicly downloadable.
• Every business profile can be reported; reports reach our moderation team for action.
