Everything an Ethiopian exporter needs to get discovered and win buyers on Gizye.

1. Get on the platform

There are two ways onto Gizye. If your business is already in the directory, Claim a Listing to take ownership. If it is not, use List Your Business to submit a new seller application.

2. Verify your business

Verification confirms you control the company. The fastest path is phone verification against the number on your license. Where automatic verification is not possible, our reviewer team confirms your documents.

3. Complete your profile

  • Add a clear company description and your primary export products.
  • Upload product images and any certifications you hold.
  • Keep your contact details and trade license up to date.

4. Respond to inquiries

Buyers reach you through sourcing inquiries that open a private conversation. Fast, professional replies build your reputation and improve your standing on the marketplace.

5. Understand ranking

Search and browse results are ordered by objective signals: featured status, an overall quality score, trust, and profile completeness. A complete, verified profile with a valid license ranks better than an incomplete one.

  • Respond to buyers within a day where possible.
  • Use accurate product and activity information so the right buyers find you.
  • Add real photos and certificates, they are the strongest trust signals a buyer sees.
